As the Southwest Indiana PTAC counselor, Jim covers 14 counties to guide small businesses through the process of bidding on solicitations for government contracts. Prior to joining PTAC, Jim was the Procurement and Compliance Manager at the Evansville Housing Authority for 10 years. His experience includes directing complex purchasing projects following federal, state and local statutes and recommending awards to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. He has worked in purchasing in the telecom industry and in marketing and sales for a not-for-profit, and has also served in municipal government as an executive director. Jim has a bachelor's degree. in Public Affairs from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Southern Indiana.
